Math Riddle - Funny Jokes
Can someone please help me figure this out? I have no clue heh. Just post in the comments if you know it…
Three men go into a motel.
The man behind the desk said the room is $30, so each man paid $10 and went to the room.
A while later, the man behind the desk realized the room was only $25,so he sent the bellboy to the three guys room with the $5. On the way, the bellboy
couldn’t figure out how to split the $5 evenly between three men, so he gave each man $1 and kept the other $2 for himself.
This meant that the men each paid $9 for the room, which is a total of $27, add the $2 that the bellboy kept = $29. Where is the other dollar?

I found this answer on iconbuffet.com
“The question is actually a trick question since it suggests that you should be adding when you should be subtracting. Another way to look it is that the Hotel has 25, the bellman 2, and each of the guests has 1 each: 25+2+1+1+1=30″

Hi Jer,
Thanks for sending that through. A few people also said the same thing… mentioning that it was all in the tricky wording of this sentance “This meant that the men each paid $9 for the room, which is a total of $27″
Thanks for visiting…
